-
Organize Your Files:
-
Ensure your template files are properly structured for easy access:
-
Create a main folder with the template name.
-
Inside, include subfolders for:
-
Fonts (only link to fonts or provide a “readme” with font links).
-
Assets (if needed, such as icons, patterns, etc.).
-
Documentation (include instructions or guidelines on how to use the template).
-
Mockups (any preview images or mockups for display purposes). Image size must be 1080x1080 Pixcel (Under 1MB)
-
-
The template file should be at the root of the main folder.
-
-
-
Create a ZIP File:
-
-
Once your folder structure is set, compress the entire folder into a .zip file.
-
Ensure the ZIP file is named clearly, such as: TemplateName_DesignerName.zip.
-
-
Share via Google Drive:
-
-
Upload the ZIP file to your Google Drive.
-
Make sure the sharing settings are set to "Anyone with the link" can view or download the file.
-
-
Submit Your Link:
-
-
Copy the Google Drive share link and paste it into the submission form’s URL input field. This will allow us to access and review your template submission.
-
-
-
Resolution & Bleed:
-
Ensure templates are created at 300 DPI (dots per inch) for high-quality print.
-
Include a bleed area of at least 0.125 inches (3 mm) beyond the final dimensions to allow for trimming.
-
-
File Format:
-
Acceptable formats: PDF, AI & EPS(version 2019), INDD(+IDML must and version 2019), PSD(version 2019), DOCX, DOC, PPTX, PPT, PUB, AFDESIGN, AFPHOTO, AFPUB files. Ensure all text is converted to outlines if using vector files.
-
Provide fully layered files for easy customization.
-
-
Color Mode:
-
Use CMYK color mode for accurate print colors. Avoid RGB as it’s designed for digital screens and may result in color shifts when printed.
-
-
Image Requirements:
-
If using images, they must be royalty-free and only included in mockups or cover images. Actual template files should use image placeholders instead of real images to ensure the buyer can easily replace them.
-
-
Font Usage:
-
Embed or link all fonts used in your design. Ensure that any fonts used are either freely available for commercial use or include proper licensing.
-
-
Print Readability:
-
Design with clear hierarchy and legibility in mind. Avoid using too-small text that may become unreadable when printed.
-
-
Trim & Safe Zones:
-
Ensure key content, such as text and important elements, are kept within safe zones to avoid being trimmed.
-
-
Template Details:
-
Clearly label layers and provide instructions for editing. Ensure the template is easily customizable by others.
-
-
Preview Image:
-
Submit a high-quality preview image of your design. It should showcase the final printed version, demonstrating how it will appear when produced.
-
-
-
Design Tools:
-
Ensure templates are created in Figma, Creatie, Sketch, or Adobe XD with organized layers for easy customization and scalability.
-
-
File Organization:
-
Keep layers, components, and assets clearly labeled and grouped. This helps designers quickly navigate and modify the template.
-
-
Responsiveness:
-
Design for multiple screen sizes. Include layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop where applicable, ensuring the template adapts fluidly.
-
-
Consistency:
-
Maintain a consistent visual style throughout the template. Use reusable components (e.g., buttons, forms) for faster prototyping and uniformity.
-
-
Prototype Ready:
-
Include interactive elements like buttons, hover states, or transitions where needed. If applicable, set up basic prototyping flows.
-
-
Font and Asset Usage:
-
Use web-safe fonts or include links to free or commercially licensed fonts. Ensure that any assets (images, icons) are included or linked properly.
-
-
Color Systems:
-
Include a well-defined color palette with both light and dark mode options if applicable. Make sure your color choices are accessible for various users.
-
-
Documentation:
-
Provide a short guide or notes explaining the structure and customization options of the template to help users get started quickly.
-
-
File Optimization:
-
Ensure your files are optimized for performance, particularly in tools like Figma or XD, to avoid lagging and ensure a smooth user experience.
-
-
Preview & Presentation:
-
Include a detailed preview of your template, showcasing how it looks on various devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) to give potential buyers a clear idea of the design’s versatility.
